Chicken Cheese Club Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chicken (boiled & shredded)
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) (crushed)
- 1/4 tsp White Pepper Powder (Safed Mirch Powder)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1-2 tbsp Butter (salted)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Yellow Food Colour (optional)
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Bread Slice (large)
- Mayonnaise
- Cucumber (sliced)
- Tomato (sliced)
- Butter
- Frill Prick or Cocktail Sword
- 2 cups/slice Cheddar/Mozerrella Cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, add chicken, black pepper, pepper crushed, white pepper powder, salt and butter, mix well and set aside.
- In small bowl, add eggs, salt and yellow food colour and then whisk well.
- In frying pan, brush oil and pour egg mixture, cook omelette from both sides and set aside.
- Cut corners of bread slices, heat grill pan and grill bread slice, spread mayonnaise now add chicken and cucumber.
- Grill another bread slice and place over it, again spread mayonnaise and place lettuce leaf, egg omelette, cheese slice, tomato, spread mayonnaise on another bread slice andtop with bread slice.
- Grease grill pan with butter and place sandwich, now apply butter and grill from both sides.
- Now pin the sandwich’s layers together by piercing them with 4 frill pricks or cocktail swords through the top bread slice, in 4 places in a diamond-like pattern, all the way to the bottom bread slice. Repeat entire process with the remaining ingredients to form other more sandwiches.
